We've designed CodeControl first and foremost as a teaching tool. Rather than replacing problem sets, our goal is to empower instructors to bring their existing curriculum into the context of the game.
As an Instructor, you'll be able to enter coding problems for students to complete, using the same in-game code-editor and remote compiler students will use. You can 'wrap' student-submitted code in your own, hidden code, which supports separating overhead/prep from the core lesson being presented.
With your account information, we'll provide a Course registration code for your students to use. When students play the game, their progress in solving the coding problems you provide is stored for review in a web-based Student Progress Portal.
